When upgrading your website to the latest version of Acquia Site Studio, database updates will be applied and therefore you can't roll back to the previous version of Acquia Site Studio once upgraded.
It is recommended applying updates on your development environment and backing up your website including your database before upgrading Acquia Site Studio.

Issue with _0040EntityUpdate failing
What is it?
Fixes an issue where _0040EntityUpdate would sometimes error with this message: [error] TypeError: str_replace(): Argument #3 ($subject) must be of type arraystring, stdClass given in str_replace()
What impact will there be?
Running a rebuild users should no longer get this error.

Issue with media library filters and DAM
What is it?
Fixes a bug when using the media library with Acquia DAM installed, switching the media source and using the filters. Upon attempting to insert resulted in an AJAX error.
What impact will there be?
Using the media library in Site Studio with DAM will now work as expected when switching media source.
What actions do I need to take?
Drupal cache clear.

Multiple Entity Browser fields sharing same configuration
What is it?
Fixed a bug where if you have two entity browsers, they share the same configuration.
What impact will there be?
Each entity browser configuration is completely separate.

Run a Site Studio import & rebuild.

Duplicate inline styles
What is it?
Fixed a bug where duplicate inline styles were attached to the page unnecessarily.
What impact will there be?
No duplicate inline styles will be attached to the page, this should help improve page performance.

Duplicate Webform submissions
What is it?
Fixes a bug when using webforms on a Site Studio layout canvas, and a user submits the webform, duplicate submissions were sent.
What impact will there be?
When submitting a webform there should no longer be duplicate submissions.

Run a Site Studio import & rebuild.

Issues with file upload AJAX on webforms
What is it?
Fixes a bug where using a file upload field on a webform within an entity reference element in Site Studio the file upload would fail with an AJAX error.
What impact will there be?
When uploading a file on a webform and rendering using an entity reference element, file uploads should now succeed without AJAX error.
What actions do I need to take?
Run a Site Studio import & rebuild.

Multiple contexts with 'OR' rule fix
What is it?
When adding multiple contexts to a component with the pass condition "Only one criteria must pass", the condition is shown even if none of the criteria options pass.
What impact will there be?
Evaluating multiple contexts with 'OR' condition now will work as expected.

Site Studio rebuild.

Steps before upgrading
As with any version of Acquia Site Studio, we recommend that you backup your websites database and code before upgrading the version of Acquia Site Studio. There are no other specific steps to carry out before upgrading to this version.
