When upgrading your website to the latest version of Acquia Site Studio, database updates will be applied and therefore you can't roll back to the previous version of Acquia Site Studio once upgraded.
It is recommended applying updates on your development environment and backing up your website including your database before upgrading Acquia Site Studio.
Known issues
- The core Big Pipe module continues to be incompatible with Site Studio
- A regression introduced in Drupal core 10.2.5 relating to CKEditor can impact content editing whilst using Site Studio - please apply this patch to maintain data consistency when editing content.
Bug fixes
Colour variables can be altered when in-use
What is it?
Fixes an issue where colour variables could be altered when in-use resulting in a mismatch between the stored variable and colours utilised in WYSIWYG editors.
What impact will there be?
Colours variables can no longer be altered when in-use.

Reordering custom styles in the listing page is not reflected in the generated CSS
What is it?
Fixes an issue where saving the order of custom styles in the listing page was not reflected in the generated CSS on save.
What impact will there be?
If custom styles ordering is not respected you will need to resave or run a Site Studio Rebuild.
What actions do I need to take?
You may need to resave the custom styles to ensure the order is reflected in the generated CSS or run a Site Studio Rebuild.

Video elements do not reflect accessibility standards
What is it?
Components that utilise the video element did not meet accessibility standards and featured an unnecessary tabbable element.
What impact will there be?
The video element will now meet accessibility standards.
What actions do I need to take?
Resave any components that utilise the video element or run a Site Studio Rebuild.

Warning text is not visible when displayed along site component fields
What is it?
Under some circumstances, the warning text was not visible when displayed along site component fields.
What impact will there be?
The warning text will now be visible when displayed along site component fields.
What actions do I need to take?

Users are unable to use entity browser field and WYSIWYG media button on the same component
What is it?
Resolves an issue where users were unable to open the entity browser from the entity browser field and then use the CKEditor WYSIWYG media button. This would cause overrides to incorrect fields.
What impact will there be?
All instances of media library will open and apply correctly to the appropriate fields.

Issue with ssaShifted not working correctly when opening and closing the sidebar browser
What is it?
Resolves an issue in the back-end when editing the layout canvas and opening and closing the sidebar browser would have an issue with ssaShifted class and cause a page breaking error.
What impact will there be?
This issue will no longer occur due to further guard rails in the code.
What actions do I need to take?
Site Studio Import.
Are there any risks I should be aware of?

Visual page builder edit in place not limiting number fields
What is it?
Resolves an issue when using the Visual page builder that a number input field is not respected. This could lead to non-numerical letters being entered into number fields.
What impact will there be?
You can no longer use non-numerical fields in number fields.
What actions do I need to take?
Site Studio Import.
Are there any risks I should be aware of?

Visual page builder while dragging can cause an error
What is it?
Resolves an issue when dragging a component and pressing the escape key can cause the user interface to be broken and stop users from performing any more actions.
What impact will there be?
You can no longer press escape to close the sidebar browser when dragging in the user interface.

Visual page builder text can be highlighted when dragging components
What is it?
Resolves an issue where text could be highlighted when dragging a component on the page.
What impact will there be?
No text will be highlighted when dragging in the VPB user interface.
What actions do I need to take?

Range slider component form preview would behaving erratically
What is it?
Resolves an issue where range sliders in the component form preview would behave erratically when it had a default value. This default value would loop and show the default value as well as 'Undefined'.
What impact will there be?
There will be no switching between the two values in the form preview.

Site Studio Import.
Are there any risks I should be aware of?

Field repeater minimums do not trigger form validation
What is it?
Resolves an issue where repeater minimum rows was not triggering the form validation if there were not sufficient rows in the repeater. It also solves an issue where the increment could allow for more rows than the max value.
What impact will there be?
Now there is validation for minimum repeater fields.
If there is an increment that would cause your rows to go above the max repeatable fields, it will add the max amount of rows until the max repeatable fields value.

Site Studio Import.
Are there any risks I should be aware of?
If your forms are breaking the validation, you may need to resave/alter your components to pass the correct validation.
Steps before upgrading
As with any version of Acquia Site Studio, we recommend that you backup your websites database and code before upgrading the version of Acquia Site Studio. There are no other specific steps to carry out before upgrading to this version.
