No, you can use any CSS selector within Site Studio.

Can I create a component that renders a Drupal view and exposes a contextual filter to the component form?

Yes, this is possible by creating a custom element.

What's the difference between mobile first and desktop first?

In mobile first, your styles will inherit upwards from the smallest media query, whereas in desktop first they will inherit down from the largest media query.

What does the breakpoint indicator do?

The breakpoint indicator shows you which breakpoint you're viewing your website at in the bottom left of the browser.

How do I turn off the breakpoint indicator?

Go to Extend > Uninstall and search for Site Studio Breakpoint indicator.

How do I get custom code onto my page/template?

If you want to add custom code to your website you can use Field formatters, Blocks and Custom Site Studio elements.

How is information transmitted and stored?

No site specific data is stored on the API.

What information is transmitted to the API?

Drupal content field data is NOT transmitted to the API. Only the underlying JSON schema and any information hard coded into templates and styles is transmitted.

What’s the best value to use with Line heights?

We recommend using decimals e.g. 1.3 as this makes the line height relate to your font size.

Why is the preview in the Style builder not updating?

The style preview may not be updated because the refresh icon hasn't been toggled to the active state.

How do I use an SCSS variable in my styles?

To use an SCSS variable, enter your chosen variable into the appropriate CSS property.

How can I style tables/forms in Site Studio?

You can style tables or forms through the use of base or custom styles.

Can I use react components in Site Studio?

Yes, you can render react components.

What units do I add after a value in the Style builder?

You don’t have to add units unless you want to use a specific unit or you’re adding Custom CSS properties.

Can I use CSS grid with Site Studio?

You can use CSS grid-based properties within Site Studio by using the custom CSS property option in the style builder.

Why are my base styles are affecting the Drupal administration menu?

Unordered list base styles can effect the Drupal admin menu. To resolve this, add modifiers to your base styles and apply styles to those to keep them from affecting your Drupal admin menu.
