Do I have to use IMCE?

No. Acquia Cohesion allows the site builder to select, either use of IMCE or Entity browser for browsing and selecting images.

Why aren't my base styles updating in the preview?

If you're removing styling from a base style, those styles still apply until you have saved the base style.

How do I add a combinator to my style?

You can only add combinators to child selectors. Add a child selector and combinator will appear in the Style tree.

What are base styles?

Base styles are CSS styles for HTML elements.

Can I use react components in Acquia Cohesion?

Yes, you can render react components.

How do I remove a combinator from my style?

You don't. You apply a Descendant selector. These use a (Space).

What's the difference between mobile first and desktop first?

In mobile first, your styles will inherit upwards from the smallest media query, whereas in desktop first they will inherit down from the largest media query.

What does the breakpoint indicator do?

The breakpoint indicator shows you which breakpoint you're viewing your website at in the bottom left of the browser.

How do I turn off the breakpoint indicator?

Go to Extend > Uninstall and search for Acquia Cohesion Breakpoint indicator.

Can I use CSS animations?

Not yet. The Style builder does not have the option to add an animation name or key frames. This is planned functionality on our road map.

How do I get custom code onto my page/template?

If you want to add custom code to your website you can use Field formatters, Blocks and Custom Acquia Cohesion elements.

How is information transmitted and stored?

No site specific data is stored on the API.

What information is transmitted to the API?

Drupal content field data is NOT transmitted to the API. Only the underlying JSON schema and any information hard coded into templates and styles is transmitted.
